War der Unbekannte der Täter? Erste Recherchen ergeben, dass es sich bei dem Mann um Achim Tönnes( Nic Romm) handelt. Ein Musiker, der sich mit Taxifahren über Wasser hält. Dass er nach der nächtlichen Begegnung untergetaucht ist, macht ihn nicht gerade weniger verdächtig.

Am 1. Juli 2002 stoßen über dem Bodensee ein Frachtflugzeug der DHL und eine Passagiermaschine der Bashkirian Airlines zusammen. 71 Menschen müssen sterben.
Bei diesem tragischen Unglück verliert ein russischer Bauingenieur aus Nordossetien Frau und zwei Kinder. Im Februar 2004 ersticht er den verantwortlichen Fluglotsen. Er wird in der Schweiz wegen Totschlages im Zustand verminderter Zurechnungsfähigkeit zu fünf Jahren und drei Monaten Freiheitsstrafe verurteilt, die er zu Zweidritteln verbüßt. Bei seiner Rückkehr wird er in Nordossetien als Held empfangen und ist heute Stellvertretender Minister für Architektur und Bauwesen

In dem Film nach dem Drehbuch von Til Endermann – der auch Regie führte –und Don Bohlinger spielt neben Jevgej Stiochin, Ken Duken und Sophie von Kessel auch unser Leonardo Nigro in der Rolle des Remo Ricci.
